Big changes are taking place at CoLab Exeter as we move forward into the next phase of development. After nearly seven years at the helm Simon Bowkett is leaving CoLab for pastures new. Trustees wish to thank Simon for his hard work and commitment to Exeter CVS and his leadership of its transition into Exeter CoLab; and wish him good luck in his future endeavours.
In a message to the CoLab community, Simon said, "It has been a great privilege to watch CoLab Exeter grow from its CVS roots over the past few years, and to work alongside so many inspirational and dedicated people. I would like to thank all involved in CoLab's creation and success - staff, trustees, volunteers, partner organisations, funders, and commissioners for their belief in the CoLab vision and for their hard work. As I move on to new challenges, I wish CoLab every success under its new leadership, and will look forward to seeing how the CoLab story unfolds in the coming years."
The Chair of the Board of trustees, Paul Gray has decided to take this opportunity to step down after many years of hard work and commitment to clear the way for a brand new leadership team to take on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Trustees are delighted that Amanda Kilroy has agreed to be Acting Chief Executive and Jo Yelland (Director at Exeter City Council) will be Interim Chair whilst Trustees begin the task of seeking both a new Chief Executive Officer and Chair to steer CoLab through its next exciting phase of development.
We look forward to working with you in the future
