Project Summary:

CoLab Women has been supporting women in Exeter since 2017, developing positive pathways for those who find it most difficult to engage with services. We support women with a range of complex needs, including homelessness, domestic and sexual violence and abuse, trauma and poverty towards sustainable connection and recovery. CoLab Women supports individuals to directly access specialist domestic and sexual violence and trauma support. We also offer help with housing, finance, access to groupwork, recovery and learning.

The Smallwood Trust has been supporting women out of poverty for over 150 years. We at CoLab Women are proud to be a local community grant partner, administering £24000 in grants each year to provide women with essential financial support to alleviate hardship. Role Summary & Key Responsibilities:

Have you a passion for, and experience of supporting women facing multiple disadvantages to improve their financial stability? If so, we’d love to hear from you. CoLab Women supports individuals to directly access specialist domestic and sexual violence and trauma support. We also offer help with housing, finance, access to group work, recovery and learning. We have a new vacancy for a 21 hours per week Economic & Financial Resilience Support Worker. This post will both support women individually and in groups, helping to administer and oversee our Women’s Resilience Fund. If you feel that this could be you, we’d love to hear from you!
